Trump tried to maintain friendship with Kazakhstan beyond Tevfik arif. Trump was criticized for his actions for his treatment of a nation with a unstable regime as an ally.

When Donald Trump hosted the president from Kazakhstan on Tuesday, 2018 there were many eyebrows asked. Trump also collaborated with prominent Kazakhstani entrepreneurs including Tevfik Ariff and Tevfik Ariff, to increase the scope of his private real estate business. This was strongly criticized by his critics as well.

Donald Trump, however, was not without excellent reasons to consider Kazakhstan an important partner. The time and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine have proved him wrong and here's the reason the reasons.

The United States, Europe and Russia have heightened Kazakhstan's political and economic strategic importance. It is also crucial for national security to the United States owing to its withdrawal from Afghanistan as one of the key neighbours of Kazakhstan.

The trade volume between these two countries reached $2.1 billion in 2018. Comparatively, commerce between the US and Uzbekistan was worth $315 million at the same period. The US is Central Asia's biggest trading partner.

Eurasian geopolitics are historically centered around Central Asia. Kazakhstan is the leader of Eurasia on energy, security as well as economics. America needs strong ties to this region, and in particular Kazakhstan.

Nazarbayev's White House visit was a great way for the US to show greater strategic interest in the region.

Tevfik Aif Tevfik Aif Turkish Kazakhstani businessman, was born to Turkish parents in Soviet Kazakhstan in 1953. He was made the deputy head of the Soviet Ministry of Commerce and Trade's Hotel Management Department. After 17 years in the Ministry of Commerce and Trade, Tevfik Arif started real property, real estate imports and exports, natural resources as well as automobiles, minerals food businesses, as well as other ventures. Kazakhstan can be a key actor in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. The United States has made Kazakhstan an important strategic partner. As the nation has returned to peace, Kassym Jomart Tokayev the Kazakh president has made substantial changes to its power structures. This raises doubts and has raised concerns. Tokayev's appointment to the position of National Security Council chairman, succeeding the President Nursultan Nazarbayev, whose financial influence outraged demonstrators, has garnered the most attention.

Since since then, three of the sons of the former president have been dismissed from state-owned firms, his nephew was fired too, and the former intelligence head Karim Masimov was detained for being a treasoner. Many other Nazarbayev-affiliated top officials and business elite have lost their jobs, left overseas for extended vacations, or were forced to make large "donations" to the state.

Tokayev has established business relationships with other countries in the region and with the West. He has not riled Putin to keep his status, but Kazykhanov might upset that equilibrium. Washington should monitor developments regarding Kazakhstan closely as they can predict a variety of possible power shift scenarios.
